KETCHIKAN, ALASKA
DUNGENESS CRAB & GLORIOUS LANDSCAPES
The southeasternmost city in Alaska, Ketchikan is located on
Revillagigedo Island and known as a summer fishing camp for the
native Tlingit tribe for thousands of years. Enjoy the beautiful coastline
during a guided tour, where you'll see Ketchikan's vibrant history come
to life. Coast the waters in an 11-metre, fully enclosed pontoon boat for
a cruise through Alaska's Inside Passage and the magical George Inlet.
Witness the glorious majesty of the Tongass National Forest, the
world's largest temperate rainforest, before arriving at the warm and
inviting George Inlet Lodge. Here, feast on the impossibly sweet and
delicious local favourite, dungeness crab. Cruise towards Grant Island
and spot seals and porpoises frolicking in the water and some Black
Tail deer grazing at Grant Island State Marine Park.
