What's new for 2014 with the Most Inclusive Luxury Cruise Experience
Southampton, 8 January 2014 – 2014 promises to be an exciting year for the most inclusive luxury cruise line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises®. The line turned the year with a record number of forward sales, testament to their strategy of rewarding cruisers who book early with lower fares. And with their high occupancy rates, demand continues to rise as cruisers come to realise the true value of cruising with the ultra-luxury, all-inclusive line.
Looking forward in 2014:
January - March
• The line's Summer 2015 itineraries will be launched in February.
• Seven Seas Mariner® will be refurbished this spring with top suites and public areas receiving a dramatic and breathtaking overhaul with new furnishings, rich upholstery and opulent fabrics.
April - June
• Brand new theatre production shows will debut aboard Seven Seas Mariner® following her refurbishment, to include 'Broadway', 'Dancing in the Streets', Cirque Rock and Roll' and 'Film Flashback'.
• Throughout the summer Seven Seas Mariner® will call into various new ports of call throughout the Mediterranean including: including Antibes and Lorient, France; Argostoli and Syros, Greece; Santa Cruz de la Palma, Canary Islands, Spain.
July - September
• In Northern Europe, for the first time, guests can embark Seven Seas Voyager® in Oslo and Amsterdam. The popular ship will also call for the first time into new ports in Norway/Russia such as: Kristiansand, Hammerfest, Harstad, Spitsbergen and Murmansk.
October - December
• In response to consumer demand, Seven Seas Mariner® will return to the South Pacific in November with an 11-night round-trip Papeete voyage and an 18-night Papeete to Auckland sailing. This will be the first time in the company’s history that Seven Seas Mariner® will conduct a turnaround in Tahiti and will include many new exciting ports of call such as Rarotonga, Pago Pago and Champagne Bay.
• Late November, Seven Seas Voyager® will sail two stunning itineraries taking in the east coast of Africa, where guests will enjoy breathtaking scenery and discover big game on guided safari tours. These exciting itineraries include overnight calls in Mumbai, India; Male, Maldives; Port Victoria, Seychelles and Cape Town, South Africa with visits to Mombasa, Kenya; Zanzibar, Tanzania; Maputo, Mozambique; and Richard’s Bay and Durban, South Africa.
• Also in November, Regent Seven Seas Cruises® is expanding its industry-leading, all-inclusive product by offering free Wi-Fi fleet-wide as part of a multi-million dollar Internet investment upgrade. Beginning with Winter 2014-2015 sailings, guests staying in Concierge Suites and higher will receive up to 500 minutes of free Wi-Fi.
• Furthermore, from December 2014, guests sailing aboard Seven Seas Voyager® in the Far East can enhance their cruise with one of the line's new enriching land programmes which are now also FREE to guests staying in Concierge Suites! New land programmes include a 3-night 'Sunrise over Tokyo' and 'Opulent Cities of the Emirates' from Dubai.
Additionally, more details will be released throughout the year about the ship that's to be the most luxurious ship in the modern era of cruising, Seven Seas Explorer® scheduled for launch, summer 2016.
