Regent Seven Seas Cruises Expands Scope of Voyages with Unprecedented Savings
Fort Lauderdale - March 3, 2009 - Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) today announced a dramatic expansion to its current menu of special offers for the balance of 2009 cruises, thanks to the phenomenal response to existing offers. Free Air, 2-for-1 Savings and Free Unlimited Shore Excursions, having been previously offered on select voyages, are now widely available on prime departure dates through the end of the year.
"What we are announcing is unprecedented for us,” said Mark Conroy, President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Whatever cruise destination luxury travelers are interested in visiting in 2009 – whether it is Alaska, Europe, Africa, Asia or Mexico and the Caribbean – we now have some truly compelling offers for them. Due to the tremendous demand generated by our previously-announced savings, we have decided to roll these out over a larger selection of departures. In terms of value, there has never been a better time to take a Regent cruise," he added.
Cruise fares on 38 voyages in 2009 have been lowered, while the number of cruises now featuring Free Unlimited Shore Excursions has increased from 35 to 58. There are now 36 departures that feature a combination of all three special offers: 2-for-1 Savings, Free Air, and Free Unlimited Shore Excursions. A recap by destination is as follows:
Alaska
Cruises to the 49th state on the 700-guest all-suite, all-balcony Seven Seas Mariner from May to September are now all priced at 2-for-1 Savings, with Free Economy Class Air. In addition, all dates with the exception of May 20 now feature Free Unlimited Shore Excursions. A Kids Sail Free offer is also available on all departures June 17 through August 5.
Europe (Baltic, Scandinavia and Mediterranean)
The 700-guest all-suite, all-balcony Seven Seas Voyager and the 490-guest, all-suite Seven Seas Navigator both offer full seasons of cruising in Europe. In addition to the standard offer of Free Air on most departures (Business Class in Butler suite accommodations, and Economy Class in all other suites), cruise fares on twelve sailings have been adjusted to reflect 2-for-1 Savings, and Free Unlimited Shore Excursions have been added on five dates. Twelve Europe voyages now feature all three offers. A Kids Sail Free offer is also available on four sailings.
India, Africa and South America
The Free Unlimited Shore Excursion offer has now been added to four of the five segments of Seven Seas Voyager’s Discovery Collection in the fall – a 70-night odyssey from the Mediterranean to the Arabian Gulf, India, Africa and South America. The two final segments (Cape Town to Rio de Janeiro, and Rio de Janeiro to Fort Lauderdale) now feature 2-for-1 Savings, Free Economy Class Air and Free Unlimited Shore Excursions.
Asia
All seven segments of Seven Seas Mariner’s Grand Asia Pacific cruise in the fall – a 102-night Grand Voyage from Vancouver to Los Angeles – now feature 2-for-1 Savings, Free Economy Class Air (or one-way international Business Class Air for $999 supplement), and Free Unlimited Shore Excursions.
The Tropics (Caribbean, Mexico and the Panama Canal)
All seven cruises to/from Fort Lauderdale over the holidays in 2009 (November 23 through December 28) of Seven Seas Voyager, Mariner and Navigator to Mexico, the Caribbean and Panama Canal, now feature 2-for-1 Savings and Free Unlimited Shore Excursions.
