Regent Seven Seas Cruises Announces 2017-18 Itineraries – and Free Business Class Air Travel

MIAMI, Florida April 13, 2016 - The most inclusive luxury experience found on Regent Seven Seas Cruises is expanding with the addition of free, intercontinental roundtrip Business Class air for all guests. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is the first cruise line to offer free Business Class air to guests, complementing other inclusive elements such as free unlimited shore excursions, fine wine and spirits, unlimited internet access, prepaid gratuities, ground transfers and luxury pre-cruise hotel stays.

This unprecedented luxury inclusion is available on all European, Asian and South American voyages where a guest would need to travel on an intercontinental flight in order to board, or return home from as Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ ship. The free Business Class air is available from 26 U.S. and Canadian gateway cities and offered to all guests, no matter what category of suite booked.

The announcement coincides with a wealth of new and exotic itineraries released by Regent Seven Seas Cruises today as part of its 2017-18 Voyage Collection.

2017-18 Voyage Collection

The four-ship fleet – Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Navigator and Seven Seas Voyager – will make more than 100 voyages during the 2017-18 season – including a rare summertime excursion through Canada’s fabled Northwest Passage. The 30-night Grand Northwest Passage journey aboard Seven Seas Navigator departs from Seward and explores rarely traversed islands, fjords, ports and passageways in Alaska, Canada and Greenland, before sailing along the St. Lawrence River to historic Quebec City and on to the final destination, Montreal.

Also, 2017-18 includes additional departures from Los Angeles, increasing the number of voyages that visit the Hawaiian Islands, Mexican Riviera and traverse the Panama Canal. In fact, Seven Seas Navigator and Seven Seas Mariner will make a record eight crossings of the Panama Canal as part of this Voyage Collection. Also of note, Seven Seas Explorer will embark on its inaugural season in Northern Europe, and Seven Seas Voyager will return to the Mediterranean for the summer and fall.

For 2017-18, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will call on more than 335 ports in 98 countries around the globe – including 35 ports never before visited by a Regent ship. Nearly one-third of the new ports are found on Seven Seas Navigator’s 30 night Northwest Passage voyage which departs July 19, 2017 and includes new destinations such as Homer, Kodiak, Dutch Harbor, Nome, Alaska; Herschel Island, Yukon; Tuktoyaktuk; Northwest Territories; Cambridge Bay, Gjoa Haven, Nunavut; Upernavik and Uummannaq, Greenland; Corner Brook, Newfoundland.

Seven Seas Explorer

In honor of Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ 25th anniversary, in April 2017 Seven Seas Explorer will sail a delightful 10-night sojourn from Barcelona to Venice. Guests will enjoy a number of memorable events, such as dinners hosted by the line’s executives, a festive sail-away party, and a commemorative anniversary gift. After spending spring in the Mediterranean, Seven Seas Explorer will head north to the Baltic, meandering between iconic ports such as Copenhagen, Stockholm and Russia’s cultural center of St. Petersburg.

Seven Seas Mariner

Seven Seas Mariner will spend the late spring and summer months embarking on several 7- to 11-night journeys throughout Alaska and along the coast of British Columbia. Fall will be spent observing the quaint sites of Nova Scotia and New England, before descending down the Atlantic Coast on the 14-night Autumn Foliage cruise, which travels from cool Montreal to sultry Miami – with numerous stops in between. Also on the docket is Coral Reefs & Island Feasts, a pre-Thanksgiving exploration of the Western Caribbean.

Seven Seas Navigator

Following its 2017 World Cruise, Seven Seas Navigator will set sail for another once-in-a-lifetime journey across the fabled Northwest Passage. Guests looking for another arctic experience can sail the 60-night Grand Arctic Journey. This cruise begins in Montreal and returns to New York, visiting dozens of ports throughout the North Atlantic and Europe along the way, from cosmopolitan Paris to the isolated port of Ísafjörður in northwest Iceland. On the other side of the world, Seven Seas Navigator will explore several Hawaiian islands on the 18-night Leis &Luaus cruise, roundtrip from Los Angeles.

Seven Seas Voyager

After spending the summer in Europe, Seven Seas Voyager sails to several exotic ports in the Middle East and Asia, such as Towering Skylines, a 12-night, late December voyage to some of the most fascinating cities in the Far East. Ports of call include Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nagasaki, Seoul (Incheon) and Beijing (Tianjin). In March 2018, the ship heads Down Under and beyond, including an 18-night Pristine Australian Peaks that will visit Auckland, Norfolk Island, Brisbane, Cairns and Bali along with several other Australian gems.

As an additional Regent Seven Seas Cruises luxury inclusion, on select voyages guests can enjoy more time exploring the world’s most fascinating destinations with a free three-night, pre- and post-cruise land program. The Free Land inclusion is available on most of Seven Seas Voyager’s Asian cruises. A couple such offering include the Temples of Angor Wat tour, a three-night adventure to discover the temples of the ancient Khmer Empire, and the Jewels of Hong Kong tour, a three-night exploration of Asia’s most cosmopolitan cities.
