Regent Seven Seas Cruises Unveils Additional Online Tools To Assist Travel Partners
MIAMI, Fla. (Sept. 23, 2016) - Regent Seven Seas Cruises recently unveiled a new collection of online resources for travel agents that include updated educational tools that focus on the value proposition with the line’s signature all-inclusive luxury experience and marketing materials designed to drive client interest and increase sales. The new resources, Regent Seven Seas Cruises University and Marketing Central, can be found within the Travel Agent Center section of the line’s website.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises University
The Regent Seven Seas University curriculum provides general information about the brand, the fleet, and a detailed comparison, with an amenity-by-amenity breakdown, of Regent’s all-inclusive value proposition. All courses are interactive with images, text and video narration to make information easy to understand. The courses can be started, paused, saved and completed at a pace convenient for travel partners. Currently, Regent Seven Seas Cruises University features two completely revamped learning modules, with a third focused on continuing education set to debut early next year. The current courses include:
- Regent Experience: This introductory course goes into intricate detail about the Regent Seven Seas Cruises product offering. The material dives into topics such as inclusive amenities, personalize service, spacious suites and specialty restaurants, as well as the ships, destinations and the Seven Seas Society loyalty program. Upon completing the program, agents can download a graduation certificate and will receive two Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits from The Travel Institute along with a $250 bonus commission for any new booking made within 90-days of completing the course.
- Selling Luxury: The newest course, just released this month, focuses on how best to address a luxury consumer. This five chapter course takes a deep dive into the various suite categories offered on Regent Seven Seas Cruises ships and the inclusive amenities that come with each category. It also offers proven tactics to attract and retain luxury clients and shares the benefits of selling group bookings. Additionally, it demonstrates how Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ sales team can assist travel partners and help grow their business. Upon completing this course, and passing a final review, agents will receive two CEU credits from The Travel Institute and a $250 bonus commission for any new booking made within 90-days of completing the course.
Marketing Central
This additional new platform for the Travel Agent Center was specifically designed to assist travel agents with their marketing campaigns by offering a wide a range of customizable, downloadable flyers, print ads, emails, web banners and social media posts. Travel partners can review a multitude of marketing layouts, choose the one that best fits their needs and simply add their name, contact information and call to action. With the diversity of marketing resources at their fingertips, agents have the flexibility to develop one piece of collateral, or a whole marketing campaign - making it easier than ever for agents to market the Regent Seven Seas Cruises experience.
Once an agent is finished customizing their marketing materials, they have the option to either download it for free or print the pieces for a fee. Additionally, an agent can send a customized email directly from Marketing Central at no cost by uploading an email distribution list, or they can download the creative and send from their own email server. Regent Seven Seas Cruises retains a history of completed projects, so agents can log back into the site and easily reference or download previous marketing campaigns.
Travel Agent Center was also updated with a collection of other new features such as a Travel Partner Spotlight. Each quarter the Travel Partner Spotlight highlights a travel agent who has achieved tremendous success selling Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The featured agent shares, in his or her own words, what led to their stellar performance and provide best practices that can be leveraged by other agents.
In the Sales Resource section, Regent Seven Seas Cruises added a quarterly video update showcasing new developments at the luxury line. Customized versions of the video are created for National Accounts, so they can post the content to their internal intranet sites for all agents within their consortium to view. Regent Seven Seas Cruises also introduced a new bi-monthly travel agent newsletter called Luxe Agent filled with timely information about special promotions, itineraries, destinations and other important updates happening across the fleet.
