Description

Interact with friendly southern stingrays in their natural environment as they swim around you and even brush up against your body. You will reach the venue Stingray City aboard a small boat and then attend an enlightening orientation on how to make the most of your experience. Once you enter the crystal-clear water, you may swim with the stingrays or simply stand in the shallower areas and interact with these gentle marine creatures. Southern stingrays have flat, diamond-shaped bodies and are typically about 3 to 4 feet across. They often eat shellfish and worms, which they uncover on the sandy ocean floor by waving their “wings.” A stingray wrangler will be on hand to offer tips on how best to interact with the stingrays and even feed them.
