Sail in a sleek catamaran along Antigua’s beautiful west coast to Deep Bay Beach, a well-protected crescent-shaped stretch of sand where you will spend an hour or so relaxing. Along the way, you will pass a number of other idyllic bays and the ruins of Fort Barrington, a stronghold built in the 18th century to protect the approach to St. John’s harbor. Upon arriving at the beach, you will be free to swim in the turquoise seas, bask in the sun and stretch out under a palm tree and watch the world go by. The party will begin in earnest on the return cruise, as the champagne will be flowing and succulent grilled lobster will be served for lunch. To enhance the atmosphere, music will be playing in the background, most likely the light-hearted calypso-style music that is wildly popular on Antigua.
