OVERVIEW
Settle in for an immensely scenic drive around tiny St Barts, concentrating on the northern coast, home to some of the island’s most stunningly beautiful beaches and villages. After a jaunt across the hilly interior, you will arrive at Saint-Jean Bay, a crescent-shaped body of water that is renowned for wind-surfing. As you continue along the shore, you will gaze out over one magnificent stretch of sand after another, behind which the green hills are dotted with gorgeous typically red-roofed homes. The island is an overseas collectivity of France and exudes luxury and an inescapable joie de vivre that is especially apparent in seaside villages such as Lorient. The beach there is different than most others on the island as it features small coral-enclosed natural pools that are ideal for swimming. You will also pass Marigot Beach along a hillside coastal road that will offer sweeping views of the cove.
