We are aware that the Brazil E-Visa process is presenting challenges to all travelers looking to enter Brazil. We continue to work tirelessly on behalf of our guests to expedite applications with the third-party visa processing vendor, VFS Global. As a result of our advocacy, VFS Global has recently been authorized by the Brazilian Government to help facilitate and accelerate the Brazil e-Visa application and approval process for Regent guests.
Unfortunately, due to the high number of inquiries regarding Brazilian e-Visa, we are unable to respond to each individual query. However, please see below for important updates:
If you have already provided your application number to Regent, please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to help accelerate its approval. Please closely monitor your email for updates from Regent and/or VFS Global to ensure a timely approval.
Regent is working to ensure applications are being prioritized by date of sailing and flight schedules.
If you have not provided an application number to Regent, please send the application number along with your full name and reservation number to RSSCOps@rssc.com as soon as possible.
If you are working with a visa service provider, please reach out to your visa service provider and request your application number as soon as possible and forward this information to RSSCOps@rssc.com. This application number should begin with “BRA” and is separate from your order number.
To assist guests who have not yet submitted their application for a Brazilian e-Visa, please click here for examples of the photo requirements, and please click here for an affidavit that can be uploaded in lieu of bank statements. Please note this affidavit may not be accepted by a third-party visa service provider, as it was an exemption directly provided to the cruise line. Common issues found with photos rejected by the visa processor include mouths open with visible teeth, ears not visible in the photo and flash reflection from glasses.
Please be aware that per standard airline policies, you may be denied boarding at the airport if you have not successfully secured your Brazil e-Visa and are 1) flying to Brazil or 2) have a return flight from Brazil after January 10th.
Please rest assured that we, along with the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), are working with the Brazilian Government at the highest level to expedite visas as well as pursue alternative solutions. We have reallocated resources to assist in these efforts and are pursuing all available options.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this process may cause and appreciate your understanding. Our team is available to offer as much guidance and support as we can, but please be mindful of the third-party nature of the application platform and the visa approval process by the Brazilian Government.
