In 1841, Hong Kong became a British Crown colony when it was acquired from China. In 1984, Britain and China signed an agreement which stated Hong Kong would return to China, but that it would maintain in its capitalist system for 50 years. This transfer took place during on June 30, 1997 under great pomp and ceremony. Its enormous harbor, vast industrialization and free port status make it a major Asian crossroad, and perhaps the best place to shop in the world.

Spectacular views from the top of Victoria Peak are yours to behold during this unforgettable evening sightseeing tour of Hong Kong.

Depart the pier for Hong Kong Island via the Harbor Tunnel, and begin your tour to the top of Victoria Peak, a popular tourist destination. You will exit your coach to join the Peak Tram for the exciting 7-minute ascent on its 4,593 foot-long track, then rejoin your coach at the top. The Peak Tram has been in operation since 1888, and offers unparalleled views of the city and harbor on the steep climb to its upper terminus.

Upon arrival at the Peak, you will proceed to Café Deco, where sheer glass walls are all that stand between you and the Hong Kong Harbor below. You will be served refreshments and canapés while admiring stunning vistas of the city.

Please note: The views from Victoria Peak are weather dependent. The Peak Tram ride is not wheelchair-accessible.
