Puerto Montt, Chile-port

The first German colonists arrived to this area in 1852, and have remained to the present day, a small but influential percentage of the 130,000 inhabitants. The town spreads along a narrow seaboard and climbs the slopes enclosing it to the north. Since 1985, the city has experienced considerable growth and development, fueled by more than 30 salmon farms, in addition to forestry, fishing industries and service companies. A gateway to Chile’s picturesque lakes and spectacular indigo mountains.

Experience the spectacular beauty of Puerto Montt, capital of the Lake District and one of Chile's most scenic areas, during this relaxing

tour via horseback.

Depart the pier for the drive to a private farm with a beautiful view of the ocean, and scores of picturesque lakes and active volcanoes that dominate the surrounding landscape. Upon arrival, you will receive your riding instructions and riding gear, then mount your horse for a ride through this pastoral area at a comfortable pace, or full gallop, depending on your skills.

Following your horseback ride, you will be transferred back to the pier.

Please note: If this tour takes place during low tide, a short ride by the beach may be added (weather and time permitting). Participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh less than 250 pounds, and a waiver must be signed by all participants. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
