Revitalize your mind, body and spirit in a unique new way during this relaxing visit to Iceland's mineral-rich Blue Lagoon.
Depart the pier for the drive to the Blue Lagoon, a renowned geothermal spa and Iceland's most unique and popular attraction. Upon arrival, you will take a shower before entering the surreal, milky waters of the Blue Lagoon. The lagoon's geothermal seawater is renowned for its positive effects on the skin, and represents a novel way to soak away the stresses of modern life.
In addition to bathing in the lagoon, taking in the scenic beauty of your surroundings and breathing in the clean, fresh air, you will also have access to a sauna overlooking the lagoon. The sauna features white walls that resemble silica mud and a cozy steam bath carved into a lava cave. Of course, guests bathing in the milky waters of the lagoon have easy access to the famous white silica mud; an essential part of this ultimate spa experience.
Following your visit, you will re-board your coach for the return drive to the pier.
Please note: The tour includes a minimal amount of walking and is available to guests who utilize a non-motorized collapsible wheelchair, can make their own way on and off the coach, into and out of the lagoon and have a companion to assist them. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. It is recommeneded for pregnant women and heart patients to check with there doctor before participating in this tour. Participants are advised to bring a bathing suit, change of clothing and a towel from the ship. Be advised that the Blue Lagoon is for bathing in geothermal seawater, and not for regular swimming. For hygiene reasons, guests will need to take a shower without swim wear before their dip. Separate dressing rooms and showers are provided for men and women.
