Depart the pier for an orientation drive through Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the UAE. Founded in 1761, Abu Dhabi is situated on a small peninsula surrounded by a cluster of islands. Your first stop will be at Sheikh Zayed Mosque - also referred to as the Grand Mosque for an inside visit. Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and the eighth largest mosque in the world.
After your mosque visit continue the drive to see the Heritage Village which houses a small museum and depicts the daily activities of the Arab community prior to the discovery of oil. You will then proceed to the Manarat Saadiyat which is an Interactive Guest experience center located on Saadiyat, this exciting artistic venue houses international exhibitions from around the world. .
Your tour will conclude with a drive along the spectacular corniche and around the city of Abu Dhabi, known as the Manhattan of the Gulf due to a profusion of ultra-modern glazed skyscrapers, gleaming white mosques and elegant high-rise apartments overlooking the city's magnificent skyline.
