Seoul's traditions, landmarks and daily life are yours to discover during a picturesque orientation tour of this historic city.
Depart the pier for the scenic, 1-hour drive to Seoul. Upon arrival, you will pass by the Presidential Offices, known as the Blue House. Your next stop is the Jogyesa Temple. Founded in 1395, this temple is the center of Zen Buddhism in Korea, and the main temple of the Jogye order.
Next, your drive continues on to Insadong, known as Mary's Alley. The heart of Seoul's antique and art district, Insadong is home to dozens of galleries and shops selling antiques and traditional crafts.
On the way back to the pier you will make a stop at Deoksu Palace which was once a temporary residence for many Korean royalties. This palace includes some of the best examples of royal architecture of the Choseun Dynasty. While located at the corner of the busiest intersection of downtown Seoul, Deoksu Palace is considered one of Seoul's most elegant palaces.
Please note: Deoksu Palace is closed on Mondays and will be replaced with a visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace. The tour sequence may vary.
