    continues to be the hub for the transport of commodities in the region. The city is a unique blend of the East and the West - a fascinating potpourri of oriental charm and western modernity.

    Day 1: April 26th, 2014

    Arrive via international flights to Dubai and transfer to your hotel.

    Day 2: April 27th, 2014

    After breakfast start your tour of the area with a visit to the city of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, is situated on a small peninsula surrounded by a cluster of islands. The city tour covers a variety of interesting highlights such as The Grand Mosque, The Masdar City (photo stop) and the Corniche Area. The drive takes you past the beautiful corniche and interesting sights around the city of Abu Dhabi. The city is popularly referred to as the “Manhattan of the Gulf” because of the profusion of ultra-modern skyscrapers. A photo stop will be made in the corniche area and also in front of the Emirates Palace Hotel.

    The group will also have a panoramic tour driving past the new developments of Yas Island such as the Ferrari World and the Yas Marina circuit.

    You will also have the opportunity to visit Manarat Saadiyat - Located on Saadiyat Island, this exciting artistic venue showcases all new developments of Abu Dhabi. This interactive experience centre will bring alive the historical and cultural vision behind Saadiyat Island as well as its future plans (Guggenheim, Louvre Museums and other projects). Guests will find a rich educational experience through state of the art virtual ‘books’, LCD screens display the pages of electronic books - using a first-ever technology in the Middle East, which respond with a gesture recognition sensor system by simply waving a hand over the image of the book.

    Return transfer to Dubai.

    **Note: The Grand Mosque will no longer provide ladies a headscarf or abaya free of charge and there is no shop on sight to buy them. Ladies please come prepared with something to cover you head or entrance will unfortunately be denied. For men and women: no transparent clothing, no shorts or skirts, no sleeveless shirts, no clothing with profanity and no tight clothing (including leggings) or beachwear.

    Day 3: April 28th, 2014

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After checking out of the hotel, you will enjoy a city tour of Dubai - the second largest of the seven Emirates. The tour starts with a drive to the Jumeirah Beach area with photo stops at the Jumeirah Mosque, a magnificent example of modern Islamic architecture, followed by a stop to photograph the landmark of the city, the famous Burj Al Arab Hotel which is built on a manmade island.

    From here you drive to the Marina and take a 10-minute break to walk through the Marina overlooking the lagoon. Thereafter, you drive through the Jumeirah Beach Residence area onto the Emirates Hills, The Springs and Meadows, which are today the most sought after residence areas and drive onto the Palm Jumeirah, which is the most talked about project of the new Dubai.

    Continue on to the Sheikh Zayed road and arrive at the Dubai Mall which is the largest shopping mall in the world. The Dubai Mall is the region's premier shopping, lifestyle and entertainment destination. With more than 1,200 stores and a host of world-class attractions, The Dubai Mall is revolutionizing the modern shopping experience.

    With an impressive array of leisure pursuits, this is the ultimate, cutting-edge shopping experience. A range of adventure sports vies for attention alongside the romance of ice-skating. The Dubai Mall is a place where outdoor brunch can be followed by the delights of the big screen and where a 21st century gold souk is set off against a world class aquarium. When was the last time your sortie to the designer stores took place under the watchful eye of a giant sea turtle? Step inside The Dubai Mall and experience a place like no other.

    Finally walk to Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world) and enjoy a moment at the viewing gallery at a top floor of the building

    Following your city tour you will be transferred to the ship.

    For the visit of Grand Mosque -

    • Modest, conservative, loose fitting clothing, long sleeves, and trousers

    • No transparent (see-through) clothing

    • No shorts for men

    • No shorts or skirts for ladies

    • No tight clothing including leggings, no swimwear and no beachwear.

    • Shoes will be removed before entering the mosque, so we recommend slip off shoes

    • Headscarf for ladies is essential (these are no longer provided at the mosque – please bring your own)
