    Just outside Cambodia's Siem Reap, a unique and thrilling adventure awaits you in the jungles of Angkor, where you can uncover the rich history and grand architecture of the Khmer Empire. Obscured by dense vegetation for centuries, the glorious temples of Angkor comprise one of the world's largest religious monuments. The most famous is the enormous Angkor Wat, whose soaring walls are covered with intricate carvings. You will also pass through the imposing gates of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire, to explore the renowned Bayon Temple.

    Please note: The order of sites visited may vary to avoid congestion. The timings indicated are only approximate, and are given here for general reference purposes and are subject to change.

    Please also note:

    - There is extensive walking at the temple sites, with steps at Bayon and Angkor

    Wat.

    - Guests will need to bring one passport photo with them for temple pass.

    - Flight schedules are subject to change and tour sequence may vary depending on

    traffic conditions.

    - Cambodian visa fee is included in the tour and will be applied upon arrival at

    Siem Reap Airport

    EXTRA NIGHTS: Should you book any extra nights through the cruise line, you will be met per the flight details provided and transferred to the Millennium Hotel. Note that check in time is 2:00pm. Any meals other than breakfast as well as any activities are on your own until Day 2 of the program. Kindly ensure that the cruise line has your most up to date flight details.

    DAY 1 - April 5th, 2014 - Arrival in Bangkok

    Meet/greet at Bangkok Airport and transfer to hotel for check-in.

    DAY 2 - April 6th, 2014 - Bangkok to Siem Reap

    11:35am to 12:45pm Depart Bangkok by PG 905 for Siem Reap (subject to change)

    1:00pm to 1:15pm Process on-arrival visa

    1:30pm to 1:45pm Transfer from Siem Reap Airport to hotel for check-in and relaxing

    2:30pm to 3:00pm Drive from hotel to Banteay Srey

    3:00pm to 5:30pm Visit the magnificent Banteay Srey Temple Complex

    3:30pm to 6:00pm Visit Angkor Wat Temple Complex, and watching sunset at Angkor Wat

    Expected Weather: Hot and Dry

    Average mid-day temperatures can hover to upper 30s, especially in inland areas like Siem Reap. It is less breezy at this time of year, the sun can be quite intense and the air becomes hazier with the rising humidity. Though sometimes quite hot, the lack of rain still leaves this good time of year to visit the temples and the beach.

    What to Bring:

    We advise all visitors coming to Siem Reap, Cambodia to dress properly, as it can be offensive wearing shorts, mini skirts or revealing clothing, which are not appropriate, especially when visiting Temples or any holy site in Cambodia. Please dress with respect and have respect for the Culture and Religion. Light clothing, cotton and cool fabrics are suitable the whole year around. Guest are requested to take-off their foot wear and hats at every religious site and when entering private home for polite sake. Trousers or pants are required to be worn when visiting Angkor Wat and Bayon Temple.

    Currency:

    Cambodia Riel is the national currency, which is available and easy to spend or purchase something. US Dollars are accepted in Cambodia for everywhere to purchase everything.

    Electricity:

    The voltage is 220 V throughout the whole country. Most of the international hotels have their own generators.

    Luggage:

    You will need to bring in and out for security checking at airport. In Siem Reap, luggage will be transferred by cargo van. In Bangkok, luggage will be transferred with guests' transportation.

    Accommodation: If similar hotels are required due to unforseen circumstances, they will be of equal ratings and standards.
