Discover why Wellington is renowned for its food and art during this behind-the-scenes tour of some of the city's finest restaurants, cafés and galleries.
Depart the pier for the drive to the Courtenay Place area. You will then sample delicious cuisine, and meet many of the owners who have made their business so successful. This behind-the-scenes look will also take you through some of Wellington's lively back streets, where you can browse the eclectic craft galleries and designer stores.
After a stop at a contemporary chocolatier, you will visit the Ora & Kura Galleries to view displays of the finest Maori art. Next, you will proceed to Moore Wilson's Fresh, where local chefs purchase fresh produce and regional cheeses. You will then visit a coffee roastery to experience the distinctive local coffee styles before proceeding to a top restaurant for a light, three-course tasting lunch accompanied by New Zealand wines.
Following your visit, you will re-board your mini-van for the return drive to the pier and ship.
