Beer lovers will be delighted by the variety of local brews available in the Astoria area. From pale ales, amber ales, rich porters or full stouts, no matter the personal preference, even the most discriminating palate finds a new favorite.
This tour allows participants to taste a number of the varieties during visits to two local breweries where you will have a chance to sample some of Oregon's favorites.
A local school bus serves as your transportation as you travel to the breweries on a personalized tour complete with samples and a glass of beer of your choice at each location.
Your final stop will be a visit to the Wet Dog Café before being transferred back to the pier. After this fun and informative ale trail tour, you will come away with a better understanding of the art of beer brewing in Oregon.
Please note: This tour includes minimal walking; however, it is not available to guests who utilize a wheelchair. Those guests with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Casual, weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable, flat walking shoes are suggested. A light snack will be provided at one of the stops. The order of the sites visited may vary and the actual venues may change without notice.
