Port: Roatan

Roatan
Warm Caribbean waters with excellent diving, white sand beaches, and tropical sunsets are some of the attractions of the Bay Islands. Roatan’s major source of income is tourism, particularly because of SCUBA diving attractions. The underwater environment is rich and extensive with reefs surrounding the islands, often within swimming distance of the shore. Caves and caverns are a common feature, with a variety of sponge and the best collection of pillar coral.
The following Shore Excursions are available for this port on this cruise, and may be reserved beginning 180 days before the cruise begins.

This fabulous tour combines two of Roatan's most popular attractions. Enjoy the incredible experience of meeting a dolphin face-to-face along with relaxing on Roatan's finest beach.
Departing from the pier, you will travel approximately 30 minutes to Anthony's Key Resort and Roatan's Institute for Marine Sciences. Upon arrival to the facility, it's a short boat ride over to Bailey's Key - home to the Institute's resident bottlenose dolphins. After a briefing by the staff, your experience of a lifetime will begin as you are led into the waist-deep waters of the surrounding ocean in small groups with your trainer, to reach your waiting dolphin. As you are introduced to your dolphin and learn all about their physiology, you will be allowed to touch and stroke this incredible animal. Next, you will be given the unforgettable opportunity of getting hugs and kisses from this friendly creature that brings smiles to the faces of everyone it interacts with. All too soon, your amazing dolphin encounter comes to an end and you will be transported back over to the main grounds of Anthony's Key Resort. Once there, you will have approximately 30 minutes to change clothes and purchase photos and other souvenirs of your memorable experience before it's time to continue on to Tabyana Beach.
Tabyana Beach is a marvelous beach that provides visitors the best nature has to offer, along with the amenities that make any visit here comfortable and completely relaxing. Along with offering you a stretch of spectacular beach and sparkling ocean, you will also be able to take advantage of fresh water showers with changing/restroom facilities, gift boutiques, cash bar and great Caribbean music. The more adventurous may want to do some snorkeling in this unspoiled environment and the coral reefs begin close to the water's edge. You can even join in a vigorous game of beach volleyball if you choose or go kayaking, followed by a cooling glass of ice water, iced tea or homemade lemonade (included at no charge).
After approximately 2 hours of fun beach time, it's time to meet your transportation and travel back to the pier where your tour concludes.
