Experience the romance, glamor and irrepressible joie de vivre of Paris by touring its most beloved icons by day, then spending your evenings cruising the Seine and watching an outrageously costumed cabaret show at the Lido.
Day 1
At the Paris airport, you will meet your English-speaking guide who will accompany you on the transfer to your hotel in the heart of Paris. After checking in, you will have until late afternoon to explore on your own. Because your hotel is centrally located, it offers easy access to a huge variety of attractions and diversions.
You might wander the galleries of the Louvre to behold da Vinci's enigmatic Mona Lisa, stroll through the labyrinth in the Jardin des Plantes botanical garden, or climb the steps to the top of the towers of Notre-Dame for a panoramic view of the city. Landmarks are seemingly everywhere, and they never fail to delight.
As night falls, Paris shines even brighter. By early evening, you'll depart your hotel for a dinner cruise along the Seine in a glass-topped boat. The icons of Paris will be illuminated, imbuing the city with a magical glow. What a joyous, memorable experience, especially when complemented by extraordinary French cuisine. Later, with the day's events etched in your memory, you'll return to the hotel for the evening.
Day 2
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will accompany your guide on a walking tour of Paris. Over the next three hours or so, the guide will regale you with stories of Paris' history as you explore the sites where some of France's most important events unfolded. While the exact route varies from tour to tour, you can be sure that the experience will be enlightening and unforgettable.
Afterwards, you will have the afternoon free to explore further on your own, perhaps revisiting attractions that you passed earlier, or other destinations that may have piqued your curiosity.
Later, an evening performance at the Lido cabaret awaits you. Since opening in 1946 on the world-famous Champs Élysées, the Lido has mesmerized audiences with glittering costumed dinner shows. The Revue Bonheur is an extravaganza featuring more than 70 artists and dancers performing in hundreds of costumes on 23 lavish sets.
How exhilarating to dine on gourmet French fare while watching a sensational show in what may be the world's most renowned cabaret. Following the performance, you will return to the hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the train station and board an Express TGV train to Nice, one of the pearls of the Côte d'Azur. At the train station there, you will be met and escorted to your cruise ship.

Please note: Land programs that encompass multiple days ashore customarily include extensive and prolonged activity, while those of shorter durations typically have more moderate activity levels. However, each program varies and participants should be prepared to negotiate a mixture of surfaces which may include: inclines, cobblestones, sand, and gravel or natural paths. There may also be a need to climb steps or stairs on occasion. Guests who utilize a wheelchair and those with mobility concerns are advised to check with the cruise line in advance to see if any portion of the tour program may not be considered suitable for their individual situation. Weather appropriate clothing; hats; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are generally recommended.
