Join us on a delightful stroll that affords views of several of Nessebur's abundant churches, which have earned the town's UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
During your walk along the quaint maze of cobblestone streets you will discover the charm of the small squares that are lined by wooden houses that date back to the 19th-century. View the churches of Christ Pantocrator, St. John The Baptist, St. John Aliturgetos. Blessed Saviour, St. Paraskeva and Holy Archangels. Along the way, your guide will provide insight into Nessebur's history as you view the magnificent ruins of the Old Metropolitan Church.
Included in your tour is a visit to the Archaeological Museum where you can admire the display of brilliant examples of local icon paintings. You will also enjoy an interior visit to the Church of St. Stefan before being afforded some free time for shopping.
Please note: This tour includes approximately 1 1/2 hours of walking - at times on uneven ground. There are also a considerable number of steps to be negotiated and it is not considered suitable for guests who utilize a wheelchair or those with mobility concerns. Caps and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
