Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik

Known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” Dubrovnik was founded in the 7th century by a group of refugees from Epidaurum (today’s Cavtat). It is known worldwide for its unique marble-paved squares, tall houses, steep-cobbled streets and fountains. The city walls, once used to as protection against its enemies, now keep motorists at bay in this picturesque town. UNESCO named the Old City a World Heritage Site, and Dubrovnik’s beautiful historic sites have been restored.

The following Shore Excursions are available for this port on this cruise, and may be reserved beginning 180 days before the cruise begins.

Cruise Dubrovnik Riviera By Private Yacht
Tour Code: DBV-001
Duration: 6 1/2 hours

Light Activity Regent Choice Meal

Experience the Dubrovnik Riviera from a unique perspective during this scenic yacht cruise along the Elaphite Islands archipelago.

Depart the pier for a scenic cruise along the Elaphite Islands archipelago, a unique natural phenomenon. Although the islands are situated closely together, each island has its own personality. Along the way, you will see centuries-old fishing centers and an abundance of cultural monuments. You will also see the fertile Golden Island, or Sipan, former home of Cardinal Beccadelli, former Archbishop of Dubrovnik and close friend of Michelangelo.

Next, you will proceed to Lopud, the most developed tourist island in the Elaphites, and home to many historical monuments. For centuries, the inhabitants of Lopud were exclusively sailors. Today, the island still abounds with distinct reminders of its merchant past and wealthy denizens who left behind rich architecture and art imported from all over the world. Upon arrival, you will have an opportunity to swim, sunbathe or take a stroll on the beach. A 3-course lunch with wine will be served at the Villa Vilina Hotel on Lopud Island.

Following your visit, you will embark the boat for the return cruise to the pier.

Please note: The yacht accommodates up to 8 guests. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and a swimsuit under a cover-up, and bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a towel from the ship. This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, including 20 steps to climb. Due to the limited availability of yachts, we encourage guests to pre-book this tour early.
